Group 2- From Seed to Fruit: The Tomato Story

  Starter Prepared by: Serap TÜRKÜCÜ One bright April day, the children in the school garden gathered again—this time with tiny tomato seeds in their palms. The air smelled like spring and the soil was ready for new life. Under the guidance of their teacher Serap, the children gently dug holes and placed the little tomato seeds into the earth. They named their seeds with care—one was called "Tommy the Tomato," another “Captain Red,” and one brave little seed was named “Fireball.” Down in the soil, word spread fast. Tony the Worm, who had just helped Miss Strawberry a few weeks ago, poked his head out of a tunnel. “Oh? New seeds again?   Starter Prepared by: Merve Rabia Gül One spring morning, as sunlight lit up the small vegetable bed in the school garden, the little students were full of excitement. That day, it was finally time to plant their strawberry seeds. With guidance from their teacher Merve Rabia Gül, the children first softened the soil and then carefully placed the tiny brown seeds into it. Each child gave their seed a name. One of the most loved names was "Miss Strawberry." Some children called her “Sweet Girl,” while others preferred “The Red Queen.” But what no one knew was that the seed wasn’t alone under the soil. There were other tiny creatures living down there. Deep in the earth lived Tony the Worm, right next to the strawberry seed in his tunnel.
