The air smelled like spring and the soil was ready for new life. Under the guidance of their teacher Serap, the children gently dug holes and placed the little tomato seeds into the earth. They named their seeds with care—one was called "Tommy the Tomato," another “Captain Red,” and one brave little seed was named “Fireball.” Down in the soil, word spread fast.
